Bio Statement

Kyrec Day is a graduate of George Mason University, School of Film and Video Studies, who is based in the DMV area. He received a B.A. in the Film and Video Studies program.
​
He has produced and edited both short-form and long-form social media videos in addition to working on reality TV. He has created videos in the form of interviews and documentaries. In addition, he has over 14 years of experience as a senior editor and videographer.

Kyrec's company, Guildless Productions, is a multimedia firm that specializes in creating work in the fields of graphic design, cinematography, photography, editing, scriptwriting, and sound design.
Artist Statement

My purpose of filmmaking is to create entertainment for audiences of color. Introducing them to characters of color who lean toward non-stereotypical roles.
​
As a filmmaker, it is my goal to create interesting characters, stories, and worlds that audiences can relate to, be it fiction or non-fiction. To give way to a space that, even if for a few hours, is distant from the bigotry plaguing our world.
​
From documentaries, to horror, comedy or otherwise, I want to share my creative mindset with those who want something a little different.
